HOWE ALLEN
ASSOCIATE BROKER

Howe Allen _ Websize
Howe Allen grew up in a rural Vermont town where he attended a four-room schoolhouse. After graduating from high school, he attended the University of Vermont where he earned a BA in Economics, but with minor concentrations in German, Art History, and Crime and Criminology. He obtained his advanced degree from Florida Atlantic University in Economics. Howe has held many jobs in the past. From his early days as a middle school civics teacher to a corporate career in education and training for nearly two decades. Real Estate, however, was always his passion. One might say it is in his genes. His father owned a successful residential construction company and his mother was a real estate broker. Even before graduating from college he obtained his real estate license and kept it for nearly two decades before entering the industry full-time in 2005 in Boston, MA. Since then he has brokered over $ 100,000,000 in transactions, started his independent brokerage, and mentored many agents that have come to work with his firm.

Changes stimulate the mind and body. Emerging from the pandemic, Howe and his husband Tim Evans decided it was time for a change. After setting up the infrastructure to maintain his brokerage in coastal Massachusetts, he and Tim decided that Savannah was to be their new home. For over twenty years, Howe and Tim would visit Savannah as they drove to and from their home on the Gulf Coast of Florida. “We could live here” was always the phrase that they found themselves repeating year after year. The history that is so important to Howe together with the beautiful setting, appealing climate, and cultural and artistic venues that dot the Savannah landscape, Savannah became the change they craved. When choosing a new firm to work for, he knew it had to be held in high regard. A firm that isn’t cookie-cutter and isn’t too corporate, yet one that aligns with some of the most prestigious monikers in the industry. It was for these reasons among others that he chose Seabolt Real Estate.

Howe is not from Savannah. However, he chose to live here. An adult student of history, architecture, and culture blended with his genuine desire to build relationships with his clients make him a good choice for those considering a move to the Savannah area as well as those who want a fresh set of eyes who can understand what is important about a transition to a new environment.
